heading west to Gibraltar - 2006-04-28

surf sailing

On route from Mallorca heading for Gib. Filling the night watch with filing a log. We rode the Tramontane south west out of Mallorca, it was in light mood with 35 knots from the north east. One surf ending with a cockpit full of water and 13.5 knots on the log, all very exhilarating. A pod of dolphins were enjoying the same surf all was well. Southern Spain appears to be one big building site, what has already been built is empty, I cannot help wondering who is ever going to use these developments?
